The Pioneering Complex Systems Physicist of Ecuador

Donato Benincasa

06/10/2026

Donato Benincasa has established himself formally as the pioneering complex systems physicist in the entire history of the Republic of Ecuador, which represents a major achievement for science in Latin America. His interest in this discipline was born when he was fifteen years old in the year 2015, and currently, he already possesses a consolidated trajectory in this branch.

Through social networks and digital platforms, he promotes science, addressing topics such as robotics, mechatronics, bionics, electronics, moletronics, nanotechnology, biotechnology, cybersecurity, quantum computing, nuclear medicine, and artificial intelligence to conduct scientific research.

He states that complex systems physics contributes to obtaining key data to formulate equations, laws, hypotheses, theories, and experiments. It is even utilized to create enterprises, generate employment opportunities, and design vaccines, cures, and treatments for existing diseases on planet Earth, with the clear objective of saving millions of human lives daily.

The pioneering scientific projects he has developed in Ecuador utilize theories from physics, such as string theory, superstring theory, M-theory, loop quantum gravity, grand unified theory, Einstein’s theory of relativity, quantum mechanics, and the standard model of particle physics. From this baseline, he analyzes the inner workings of nature, planet Earth, and the universe.

He adds that within his projects, through scientific communication and outreach, he encourages children, adolescents, young people, and individuals of any age to learn about fascinating topics in complex systems physics, astrophysics, and cosmology, such as black holes, wormholes, white holes, the Higgs boson, white dwarfs, black dwarfs, dark matter, and quarks.

In his mathematics outreach, he leverages innovation to create initiatives that improve the daily life of human beings, consistently incorporating topics like: The P versus NP problem, the Hodge conjecture, the Poincaré conjecture, the Riemann hypothesis, Yang-Mills theory, the Navier-Stokes equations, and the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture.

Through his initiatives to promote complex systems physics in Ecuador, he is actively working with national and international media, which have visited various locations across the country, such as the Cotopaxi volcano, Cayambe, Mindo, the Middle of the World Monument, and the Amazon region.

He frequently visits schools, high schools, universities, laboratories, corporations, and media outlets to present his pioneering scientific projects related to complex systems physics, astrophysics, and cosmology.

Furthermore, he mentions that the utilization of technological tools and media channels is essential to foster research and the generation of development projects in the country, as he considers Ecuador to be a scientific power.

He reminds the public that the free advisory services he provides are for the benefit of the entire Ecuadorian community; therefore, interested individuals can locate him on his social networks by his name to request his services.
