A spark on silent waters

A spark on silent waters

There’s a tiny spark which comes and goes. It disappears when we are far from each other, leaving me alone again with my darkest thoughts.

There’s a tiny spark glowing in the shades of our nights togehter, glowing in our glances and in our silent waters.

They told me once that silent waters are deep. Deep like a quiet and shiny lake surrounded by the highest mountains.

Is it your silence like those quiet lakes, that when you acknowledge the depth they have you are even frightened of thinking about sailing a boat on it?

Is it your silence deeper than the doubt?

Is it your lake waiting for my boat to sail on it without fear?

I guess I should stop daydreaming. I should stop doing this to myself. I should stop thinking that the tiny spark that is lighting our faces when we are together in the gloom is something more than a short fire.

But when my eyes find yours in the gloom and the spark is just in the middle of them four… Damn me, but I feel my boat is shipwrecking in the storm of your raging ocean and it’s swallowed by your waters which are not silent anymore.
