(Alex) 4ESO C:
When I was 8, my father left for Georgia for work, I had never heard of such a place, I was really excited, I wanted to go somewhere new and be with my father, luckily my mother, my father, my brother and I went to Georgia. Moreover, here is where my six-year adventure begins.
During my stay in Georgia, I visited many places, enjoyed the culture and contrasted the differences between Spain (Madrid) and Georgia (Tiflis).
At the beginning I went to an American school, it was hard to keep up with the English level my classmates had, but after some time I learned better English and I enjoyed the new environment. A funny fact about that class is that we were only three boys.
After two years in the American school, I went to the French School; I spent the best three years of my educational program yet. I had fun, I had very special teachers, but most especially, I had friends. To this day, I still keep in touch with my friends from the French School (even though they are more than 4000 kilometers away). During the time when I was in the French School, I learned how to play golf and water polo; I also developed my swimming abilities. The school taught me how to speak German (though I must primarily thank my father) and improved my English.
Suddenly my parents decided I had to learn Russian, so they suggested going to a Russian school. Compared to the French School, the Russian School was more like an obligation. During my stay at the Russian School, I learned how to windsurf and learned Georgian, but principally I began my gardening journey by buying earth, making compost, planting plants (tomatoes, beans, watermelons, pumpkins, zucchini and cucumbers) and investigating agriculture.
In conclusion, my experience in Georgia (from 8 to 14) helped me so much learning languages (French, English, Russian, German and Georgian), helped me learn tons of sports and let me enjoy it all with my family and with my friends.
