Once again in the middle of the maze, blind, absolute darkness. I am not sure if it is night or day. I lost track of time. Too much booze for sure. I am wet, I’ve been sleeping on my vomit but I have survived. I got to get out. Every time I get in trouble I got out and this time is not going to be different. I´m going to get my shit together and figure it out, rescue them, I miss them. I think my buddies are dead. I had a dream in which they were twisted in pain, screaming for help … I heard them breathing in despair as if the air did not reach their lungs. Until nothing was heard, only the deathly silence and this thick darkness that embraces everything.

I rush, bump into the walls over and over again. I am running blind; It is trial and error. I must not stop. If I persevere I will achieve it, I have the feeling that it will be like that, it is always like that. Just one more little effort. I am almost there. The air begins to feel different, I smell something different. Yes, I am close to the exit. I see a silver lining, my silver lining, my reward.

−Doctor Miller, would you like to deactivate the death trap at the exit?

−No. Let’s see if this survivor mouse can figure it out.
