What’d happen if there was a zombie apocalypse?
Not so long ago in the hottest part of Texas some of my teachers were in a road trip through the U.S.A. in a bus without air conditioner. Asenjo, Almudena, Willy, Fernando, Villo, Jose Carlos, Vanesa and Nacho where in there. They were having a lot of fun even though Willy who was driving was dying from the smell of the sweat. But suddenly the radio stopped and when it came back there were sounds of people screaming in horror and also aaaaggggggs and uuuuuhhhhhhhs. Everybody was terrified of what they were hearing on the radio but they knew they were safe there in the middle of the desert. Four hours later they had forgotten about it, and they had already gotten to the outskirts of Austin. The closer they were getting they could hear more and more screams and also more traffic out of the city. Then Asenjo realized that it was a zombie apocalypse.
“We need language books!” yelled Villo. “That is one of the most uselles items we could ever need right now.” replied Jose Carlos. Villo’s face went down. “Let’s get spartan swords!” said Fernando. “I don’t think we can get our hands on those. ” said Almudena. The rest of the teachers nodded. “Then let’s go back to the desert.” concluded Jose Carlos. Willy was already on the steering wheel trying to drift the bus so they could go away from the zombies. The closer they got to the desert, the less cars there were and the more it stinked. This time instead of having fun they were all sad and silent.
One day later they had got to Laredo, Mexico and there wasn’t any sight of civilization. There were only broken cars, fire and more chaos. After a long time of roaming around through the streets of Laredo it started getting dark and they started hearing creepy sounds. “We should get to a shelter for the night.” said Asenjo who had cassually just read a zombie survival book. “So where are we going to stay if there are zombies in the streets at night?” replied Mrs. Mosser. No one had time to answer before a zombie creeped out of nowhere. All of them started running to an apartment building but the zombie caught Almudena and ran away with her. “Noooooo!” Fernando screamed. Once they got to the top of the building, they started preparing the place so no zombie would be able to crepp up on the while asleep. The next day they woke up early and started gathering resources, they needed food, fuel and most importantly water. They went to all the shops they could find and grabbed everything they could, even some games and entertainment for the bus. When they were done they all packed up, refueled and fitted the bus with some defenses. Soon they were up and running. They wanted to get to Florida where they thought there would be some help.
One week later they had gotten to New Orleans and they could see people walking through the streets, they weren’t zombies but they looked like them. They were very exhausted and clearly needed help but still Willy didn’t stop (what a heartless monster he is). The defenses that they had installed earlier back in Lared seemed pretty good so they decided to sleep in it. Fernando woke up and heard groans and bumps by the bus hewas really scared but decided to peek through the curtain anywas. It was horrifying, there was a huge herd of zombies passing by. Fernando woke up Villo but he just wouldn’t budge. “The zombies are here.” Then he instantly woke up and when there weren’t any zombies looking, he went to the driver seat and started moving. The zombies started running towards them but the bus was ready. They had added spikes at the back and front, a nitro for emergencies and also two machine guns they got from a military base earlier. Jose Carlos and Nacho were allready at the guns shooting zombies left, right and center. One zombie got to the door but was too dumb to open it. Thirty minutes later they were safe but they low on ammo and ran out of nitro.
They had been driving through a highway for over a week now. “This is taking soooo long, I have already finished this game 183.201 times and I’m counting.” said Nacho. “And I have seen this movie over 16 times and I’m not counting.” replied Fernando. “Why don’t you read a math book? Maybe you’ll learn something new.” Responded Asenjo.
After one more week, they got to Florida and they could see some helicopters. When they got to Orlando They started seeing people and soldiers. “We made it!” Shouted Villo who had already forgotten that not everyone made it. When they got to the first safety checkpoint they had to say goodbye to their awesome bus. “Well we survived the apocalypse.” said Fernando not knowing that the apocalypse wasn’t over. “And what about the cure? For the apocalypse to be over, the goverment needs to make a cure for all the infected people.” explained Asenjo “Or…” He never finished the sentence, it didn’t matter to them. They had arrived to a controlled area where they could sleep safely.
